There is no longer any need to search for childcare information late at night or on weekends. Starting August 3, 2026, Busan City will pilot test an AI-based 'Busan Childcare Voice Bot,' enabling citizens to receive customized childcare information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with just a single phone call, marking the beginning of an innovation.
Until now, citizens have faced significant inconvenience due to childcare information being scattered across multiple sources and being difficult to access during nighttime, weekends, and holidays. To resolve these citizen concerns, Busan City has rolled out the 'Busan Childcare Voice Bot' and began pilot operations today. This system provides childcare information through AI-based automatic consultation, and citizens can simply call the main number ☎1551-1265 anytime.
The newly launched voice bot integrates childcare information that was previously divided into six separate categories into one unified service. Users can now obtain necessary information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anytime without time restrictions, even during nighttime or weekends. After calling, when users mention their child's age, preferred usage time, and location, the AI analyzes the information and immediately sends customized information via text message to mobile phones.
This service covers a total of six core childcare programs: 'In-home Childcare Service' for home-based care, 'Hourly Childcare,' '365 Open-hours Daycare Centers,' 'Community Children's Centers,' 'Shared Childcare Centers,' and 'After-school Academies.' With this, citizens no longer need to search for fragmented information individually; instead, they can quickly and easily obtain childcare information optimized for their specific situation with just one phone call.
