President Lee Jae-myung presented three major economic cooperation areas at the São Paulo Business Round Table, the highlight of his state visit to Brazil—joint development of next-generation commercial aircraft, critical mineral supply chain cooperation, and K-beauty expansion—unveiling a concrete blueprint for mutual growth between the two nations.

President Lee declared the opening of a new era of economic cooperation between Korea and Brazil in São Paulo, known as the "heart of South American economy," and proposed elevating both nations' standing in the global market to the next level. This is interpreted as a strong commitment to pursue mutual growth beyond a simple trading relationship, with Korea and Brazil seeking to become strategic partners that will lead future industries.

On the 28th (local time), President Lee specifically mentioned three major areas of cooperation at the Korea-Brazil Business Round Table held at a local hotel in São Paulo. First, he emphasized that both nations should develop into "global aircraft manufacturing powerhouses leading the global aviation market" through joint development of next-generation commercial aircraft. Second, he stated that both nations should strengthen supply chain cooperation in the critical minerals sector to establish themselves as "important partners in supply chain cooperation." Finally, he stressed that expanding cooperation in the K-beauty sector would enable both nations to achieve "mutual growth as leaders in the global beauty market." President Lee added that active participation and innovation from business leaders of both nations would turn all these visions into reality.

At the event, Vice President Geraldo Alckmin of Brazil, along with major figures from both nations' business circles including Ryu Jin, Chairman of the Korea Business Council, and Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, attended in large numbers and showed great interest in President Lee's proposals. This business round table is significant in that the leaders of both nations directly discussed concrete cooperation measures in future core industrial sectors.

The three major cooperation blueprints presented by President Lee Jae-myung in Brazil are expected to become the foundation of a strategic alliance that will change the dynamics of the global market, going beyond simple economic exchange between the two nations. There is keen anticipation as to what concrete results will emerge from Korea and Brazil's bold challenge toward next-generation industrial innovation and sustainable growth, and how it will strengthen their global standing.
